As a result of the Defender’s rapid response the citizen received a wheelchair

A citizen called the 116 hotline of the Human Rights Defender’s Office and informed that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs had given her a reference on receiving a wheelchair, but the process had been delayed. The applicant asked the Human Rights Defender’s assistance in receiving a wheelchair for her mother-in-law, who has first group disability.

 

The Defender's representative contacted the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to receive clarification with regard to the raised issue.

 

As a result of the Defender’s rapid response, the citizen received the wheelchair.
