The Human Rights Defender had a telephone conversation with the Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia Claire Meytraud concerning the issue of guaranteeing the rights of the military serviceman Arayik Ghazaryan appeared in the territory of Azerbaijan. The latter informed that the ICRC had not met Arayik Ghazaryan yet, however, the issue is under their attention.
The Human Rights Defender’s Office is also in contact with Arayik Ghazaryan’s family members.
The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan will apply to relevant international organizations in connection to the protection of the serviceman’s right, including issues related to his health condition.
