Consumer rights in Armenia are often subordinated to the rights of economic entities which is contributed by the lack of legal awareness among consumers.

Consumers are often faced with low and inadequate quality of services, which indicates the need for continuous improvement in the field of consumer rights protection.

Changes should first be reflected in the legislation, however, to regulate the sphere, it is necessary not only the implementation of the law, but also collaboration among state, business entity and consumers.

The purpose of the report dedicated to the protection of the rights of consumers and ensuring the balance of interests is to identify the existing gaps, conflicting solutions and shortcomings in relevant international and domestic legal documents, drafts and their application, as well as present recommendations for their solution.

The report will be sent to the competent state bodies and organizations operating in the field of public services.
