Mother was provided with the opportunity to visit her children with the Defender’s support

The mother of two children asked the Human Rights Defender’s support to meet her children.

The applicant informed the Defender that while the court decides on the children’s place of residence, the Commission of Trusteeship and Custodianship decided on giving the mother opportunity to visit her children two days per week, but her husband did not allow her to see them.

In the framework of the discussion procedure initiated by the Defender's Office, official letters were sent to the relevant state bodies referring the corresponding legislative regulations.  As a result, the issue has been resolved.  The applicant has also informed the Defender that now she unrestrictedly visits her children.
