Today, RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan received UN Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health Dainius Pūras.
During the meeting the human rights situation in Armenia’s health care system was discussed.
As an outcome of the visit UN Special Rapporteur plans to publish a report on Armenia and to that end had meetings with Armenian officials and visited different medical institutions.
The Defender emphasized the importance of the UN Special Rapporteur’s visit and mission to Armenia.
