Arman Tatoyan. Artsakh is an integral part of the civilized democratic world

Arman Tatoyan. Artsakh is an integral part of the civilized democratic world

Within the framework of annual high-level individual meetings of the World Human Rights Institutions in Geneva, the issues related to Artsakh from the standpoint of human rights were raised by Arman Tatoyan. This, in particular, concerns the attempts of prosecuting artificial criminal prosecution of international journalists, experts and deputies visiting the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in recent years by the Azerbaijani authorities to eliminate the values created by the civilized world at intimidating them.

During his meetings, Arman Tatoyan noted that the Azerbaijani attempts to limit the freedom of speech on Artsakh issues and the visits of international partners to Artsakh will not succeed.

A striking example was the visit of 104 international experts from 30 countries of the world to Artsakh within the referendum of the Artsakh Republic.

The Armenian Ombudsman also spoke about the so-called "black list" of Azerbaijan, which should simply be subjected to legal discredit by the civilized world. The work of the Artsakh Ombudsman in line with the Paris Principles and interim reports on Azerbaijani atrocities was also presented to separate state officials and international experts participating in the Geneva meeting.

Arman Tatoyan underlined the necessity of participation of the Artsakh Ombudsman and civil society representatives in international meetings and discussions dedicated to human rights.

Artsakh is an integral part of the civilized democratic world.
