The representatives of RA Human Rights Defender’s Office, working jointly with the staff of RA Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Service from early morning at the Nubarashen Penitentiary Institution, succeeded in transferring Gevorg Safaryan to a safe prison cell with his consent.
It is to be reminded that based on publications about transferring Gevorg Safaryan to a disciplinary cell the RA Human Rights Defender’s Office immediately started a discussion procedure upon own initiative. Both Gevorg Safaryan and his lawyer have been notified about this in a proper manner.
The Human Rights Defender’s Office initiates the most efficient means of legal opportunities prescribed by law concerning Gevorg Safaryan’s case.
