From 7 to 8 September Arman Tatoyan, tha Human Rights Defender attended the International Forum of Ombudsmen in Bishkek.
During the Forum the reforms of Penitentiary System, as well as the role of Ombudsmen in the exercise of citizens' electoral rights have been discussed. The participants also addressed the child’s rights protection issues.
Ombudsmen of Moldova, Lithuania and other countries, as well as Board members of the International Ombudsman Institute also participated in the Forum.
During the Forum participants expressed high appreciation for the achievements of the RA Human Rights Defender. It was assessed as a good experience to follow.
