Arman Tatoyan, the Human Rights Defender of RA, finds unlawful the obstruction of the performance of professional and lawful activities of Narine Ghalachyan, a journalist of “Azatutyun” radio station.
According to the information provided by the journalist, she was filming at one of the gas stations in the city of Sevan when a young person got out of the gas station and quickly followed her. She stopped filming and got in a car. Afterwards, the young man started hitting on the car of the filming group with his hands and feet.
The Human Rights Defender’s Office commenced proceedings upon its own initiative on the basis of the aforementioned information.
A corresponding note was sent to the RA Police to initiate immediate proceedings.
