The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan will be in Vienna with a working visit in October 12-14. Working meetings are scheduled within the framework of the Annual meeting of national preventive mechanisms of the OSCE region, organized by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCR ODIHR) and Association for Prevention of Torture.
Representatives of the UN Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture and European Committee for Prevention of Torture will take part in the meeting. Participants of the meeting will discuss the achievements and challenges of the national preventive mechanisms, as well as the ways of overcoming such challenges at the OSCE level ten years after the entry into force of the Convention for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
