Today, the Human Rights Defender’s representatives, including the doctor, made a regular visit to “Prisoner hospital” Criminal-Correctional Facility to meet Artur Sargsyan who is on a hunger strike. The representatives of the Ombudsman examined his state of health, the relevant medical documents and his detention conditions.
Arthur Sargsyan still refuses the medical care and transfer to a civil hospital. The medical personnel of the penitentiary institution put A. Sargsyan under twenty-four-hour medical supervision.
The Human Rights Defender’s representatives will continue to visit Arthur Sargsyan every day, including non-working days.
