A citizen applied to the Human Rights Defender to restore his/her disability group.
According to the applicant, the medical-social expertise decisions defined the applicant with a disability of 3rd group for 3 years, however in 2018, the regular expertise did not define with a disability group.
Considering the decision groundless, the applicant appealed it through administrative proceedings, but did not achieve any result.
A discussion procedure has been initiated at the Defender’s Office. In collaboration with the RA Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, an additional medical-social expertise has been assigned, as a result of which the citizen's disability group was restored.
